Using technology to facilitate virtual trainings

The module we are focusing today on, Using technology to facilitate virtual trainings, aims to:

• Facilitate the understanding of how technology can be used to design and coordinate virtual training activities;
• Describe the types of tools and platforms which can be used to design and organise virtual trainings;
• Help VET tutors apply tips for efficient and results-oriented virtual trainings;
• Introduce the main digital tools used in designing virtual trainings.

The module focuses on a variety of digital tools that can be utilized by any business, organization, or institution for designing presentations, training project management, scheduling, and digital facilitation. Last but not least, relevant digital tools for training design are introduced as well. In addition to highlighting the primary features and application of each utility, we also provide brief tutorials and relevant links.

The last section of the module comprises practical activities for trainees, in order to facilitate the information retention and the application of the presented tools.
